The Software Innovation digital book found here was created to serve as course notes to complement a new course being offered at Aalborg University in Denmark. The original students who had access to the book had engineering backgrounds and were focused on technical training.

However, it's also a wonderful resource guide for those in this field, as well as those who just want more information. The fact is, software innovation is important in several different ways. It re-focuses software development education away from automation, rational, instrumental, and productive toward innovation.

The interesting information contained inside is designed to inform while bringing to light many topics that are still questioned today.
